Founded by Anne Marie Cook, a seasoned life sciences attorney with over 30 years of experience, AMC BIO LAW brings deep expertise to its work. Anne Marie has guided numerous biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies through all stages of growth, from early-stage R&D to the complexities of commercialization. She has led legal support across a range of critical areas, including business development, contracts, clinical development, regulatory matters, commercialization, intellectual property, employment law, compliance, public company obligations, and corporate governance.
Most recently, Anne Marie served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Sage Therapeutics. Prior to her time at Sage, Anne Marie served as SVP, General Counsel of Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; partner at Choate Hall & Stewart LLP; General Counsel and SVP of Business and Corporate Development at ViaCell, Inc., and Chief Corporate Counsel at Biogen Inc.
Anne Marie holds a B.S. in Biology from Tufts University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
